IronOx Therapy (HBOT + iron infusion)
Every doctor-led iron infusion at IronOx includes one complimentary HBOT session at the same clinic: two treatments that work through complementary pathways: iron rebuilds your oxygen-carrying red blood cells, HBOT delivers dissolved oxygen directly into your plasma. If you'd like more oxygen therapy, you can add a 10-session Course.

What to expect at your first session
If you haven't had HBOT before, here's what happens:
- Arrive at the clinic: no special preparation needed. Wear comfortable clothing.
- Enter the chamber: it's transparent and spacious. You can see out, communicate with staff, and leave at any point.
- The chamber pressurises: takes a few minutes. You may feel ear pressure (like taking off in a plane). Swallowing or yawning helps.
- Breathe normally for approximately one hour: many patients read, listen to music, or rest. There's nothing you need to do.
- The chamber depressurises: gradual return to normal pressure. You're free to go immediately afterwards.
Most patients describe the experience as relaxing. The only common side effect is temporary ear pressure during pressurisation: similar to flying.

Who is HBOT suitable for?
HBOT is appropriate for most adults. It's used clinically for wound healing, post-surgical recovery, and a range of conditions where enhanced oxygen delivery may be beneficial.
