Iron + Oxygen. Two routes.
Your blood carries oxygen two ways: via haemoglobin in red blood cells, and dissolved in plasma. Iron deficiency breaks route one. An iron infusion rebuilds it — but that takes 1–2 weeks. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy floods route two with oxygen while your red blood cells catch up.
Reception arranges your oxygen therapy sessions against live chamber availability after suitability checks. Same clinic, same care team.

A complete set of blood results from within the last 3 months is needed for your telephone consultation. Upload existing results or arrange the £165.00 Iron Profile with IronOx before your consultation.
Dr Ros determines your dose based on your blood results, weight, and clinical needs. Around half our patients need 500mg and half need 1000mg. You'll know your recommended dose before your infusion day — no surprises.
Yes — iron infusions are available on the NHS. However, you'll need a GP referral to haematology, and waiting times in Wales are 12–18 months. At IronOx Clinic, you can self-refer and book a same-week appointment with no waiting list.

HBOT sessions are booked separately after the infusion — never on the infusion day — following suitability and availability checks. Same clinic, same care team.
For most patients, the iron infusion alone is the treatment and works on its own. Your complimentary hyperbaric oxygen therapy session is optional. The separate Course is for patients who choose ongoing oxygen therapy; an optional doctor consultation is included at no extra cost and is never a booking gate.
